\nMontserrat is 1 hour from Barcelona and can be visited on a half-day tour. It’s exciting because of its location on a mountain side with cable cars and mountain trains of various types.<\/p>\n

\nTarragona is scenic and quaint and quite by Barcelona standards. The main attraction of the city is the Roman heritage, so generally this only attracts history fans and so it’s a little less crowded than other day tours near Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\n8. Andorra<\/strong>\u00a0– microstate nestled high in Pyrenees mountains. Very nice to visit for mountain and valley scenes. It’s a long day tours – 3 hours to Andorra from Barcelona so with breaks expect around 7 to 8 hours of driving on a 12 hour day tour which is often combined with a visit to France. There are several ski stations in Andorra, however there are few, if any, tour companies that offer 1 day ski tours. If you want to see snow and try a bit of skiing, then consider taking the train to La Molina or Massela ski stations in the Pre-Pyrenees. DayTripsBarcelona no longer offers tours to Andorra.<\/p>\n
